Under Construction: Not Ready for Use Yet

Welcome to Talking Politic Research. This site is used to how decisions are made during campaigns...but's it's not ready for use just yet. Stay tuned!

Welcome to Talking Politics Research

Welcome to Talking Politics Research, a platform for designing social process tracing experiments. Building on the dynamic process tracing experiment (DPTE) pioneered by Lau and Redlawsk, social process tracing experiments (SPTE for short) are two-stage experiments designed to simulate the two-step flow of information by including both a fictional campaign environment and a social information-sharing environment. While traditional DPTEs consider individual information processing and decision-making, a SPTE also considers what happens when individuals share and exchange information in a social discussion setting. To learn more about this design, click HERE While this website is designed for SPTE experiments, researchers who wish to design traditional one-stage DPTE experiments may find this platform useful for that purpose as well. This website is only for academic researchers at this time. To register and login, you will have to have a .edu email address.
